A seven-time high school state champion, NCAA Track & Field Regional Qualifier, and Big 12 400m finalist, Vanda is making his mark at Texas Christian University (TCU).
Vanda’s journey began in July 2022, when he gained dual citizenship and relocated to Las Vegas to complete the final two years of his high school education. During his junior year, Vanda balanced football alongside track and field before committing his full focus to track during his senior year. His dedication and performances earned him the opportunity to continue his athletic career with TCU Track & Field, where he continues to compete at the highest collegiate level.
Reflecting on his journey, Vanda says:
